ABOUT US
Frame Loaders Studios creates stop-motion animated content for short films, advertising and social media. We were founded out of a passion for creating Stop-Motion movies. Our vision is to become a resource centre for all digital creation. Here, you can read our story and about some of our recent projects.
Our Story
Frame Loaders was founded by Samuel Burt in 2019. At the time, Samuel had just begun to create tutorial videos around stop-motion animation and posting them to his YouTube channel. In these tutorial videos, Samuel would often give away free downloads of sound effects, and Frame Loaders was the website he created to offer these to his subscribers.
Samuel began making stop-motion movies when he was just 11. He used his mum's “point & shoot” camera with LEGO figures to create many short and funny films which marked the beginning of his filmmaking journey.
Over many years, Samuel persisted with animation, learning both slowly and painfully. But they began to look smoother, have better visuals and sound higher quality. People found them funnier. This wasn’t just by chance; this was because he was constantly chipping away and expanding his knowledge.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Samuel created stop-motion tutorials for YouTube to encourage people to try new hobbies. From there, Samuel created the complete Stop-Motion animation training course. A comprehensive beginner to pro-Stop-Motion training package. Read more about that by clicking here!
Frame Loaders was created to become a digital resource centre for all animated content.
Samuel has continued to create Stop-Motion films, with his most recent project titled "Boulder & Pebble" receiving a Royal Television Society award. He graduated from university with a first-class BA Hons degree in Film, TV and Theatre and works with businesses to create media for advertising, social media and short movies.
Our Latest Success...
Boulder & Pebble is a blend of both live-action film and stop-motion filmmaking. The project was commissioned by the Northern School of Art and went on to win a Royal Television Society award for drama.
